Ash Nudd

Hey friend! My name is Ash, and I'm a former park ranger and the founder of Dirt In My Shoes.

I grew up visiting Grand Teton National Park with my family, and it has always been my favorite place to visit. As I got older, my dream was to be a park ranger, and I got my first job as a park ranger at the Moose Entrance of Grand Teton. I then moved on to jobs at other parks, by my undying love for Grand Teton is still going strong!

After working as a park ranger in Wyoming, Utah, and Alaska, I started Dirt In My Shoes to help people plan amazing national park vacations. My experience as a park ranger helps me provide insider tips and tricks for seeing the best of the parks.

Now, you'll find me hiking around the national parks with my adventure buddies (my husband and our two little boys), soaking in the beauty of these special places, and having incredible experiences together.
